Hiking

Hiking

Plenty Hiking in the region from our office down to the lakes and even to Bhanga Nek. If you head to Bhanga Nek you can do climb the huge dune there around the point corner.

3 Lake Boat trips

Lakes Boat Trips

There are a few options to head to doing a 3 lake boat trip to view Hippos, Crocodiles, Flamingoes etc. Hike with us from our offices down to launch site to be picked up for a trip on the lakes and to Bhanga Nek.

Eco Adventures

Cycling adventures

Join us for some amazing cycling in the region in the various reserves where there are not big 5 and especially Bhanga Nek for some great spinning on main gravel road to lodges... Great area for Fat MTB cycles as there is plenty sandy jeep tracks you can cycle around the lakes on.

There are a few Fishing options in the region from fishing on the lakes to Ocean fishing but only in nearby Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique. Contact us Here for details, bookings etc.

KiteSurfing

Kite Surfing

Ponta do Ouro has some of the most amazing kite Surfing from July to December and is a quick trip across into Mozambique.

Plenty Surfing in the region from Near the Kosi Mouth towards Ponta do Ouro point then down to Black Rock.

Paragliding

Paragliding

Ponta do Ouro has some of the most amazing Paragliding spots including here in the Bhanga Nek region but unfortunately not permitted in the reserve.. for now that is.

Turtle Tours

Turtle Tours

This region has some of the longest records of Turtle research and has been protected as long so join us on a evening trip to Bhanga Nek to view eggs being laid November to to December then hatching from end of January to March.

Eco Adventures

Game Drives

There are plenty 4x4 Safari trips you can do from this region to Bhanga Nek, Black Rock then of course up to Tembe reserve for a big 5 Experience.

Dolphin Centre

Swim with Dolphins

Join us for a trip to Ponta do Ouro, Mozambique to swim with Dolphins (1hr drive). This region is well known for this activity and you are nearly guaranteed to swim with them as they are extremely social. Contact me here for details, bookings, accommodation and transport

Scuba Diving

Scuba Diving

Ponta do Ouro is rated in the top 10 scuba diving sites in the world with pristine reefs and no bleaching. At certain times of the year you can scuba dive with sharks with no chumming and cages then head to the Maputo Elephant Reserve for a game drive in the afternoon..
